My hero
Mozza writes like he sings. With poetic lyrical prose. Pointed, bitter, angry, funny, self assured. He paints a world weary picture of working class no hopes done good. Done VERY good.

Damaged
When it arrived it was clearly well used, loved should we say, but the front cover was bent, pages dirty and spice cracked. Not impressed.

A must read for anyone interested in the 80s most influential bands
An Amazing read for anyone who was a fan of the early smiths years in 1982. The definitive true account of the trials and tribulations of Morrisey's early life growing up in post industrial Manchester. The detail of Morrisey's word Smith articulation is simply poetic. John betjamin would have been awe. Love him or hate him Morrisey is a true modern day legendary icon writer poet and song writing legend quaint essential post punk nostalgia but very much modern and contemporary writings of Thatchers written off generation.Read full review
