Black Lion OMNI Upgrades totally rocked my world with the best sound ever!

(Modified by) Black Lion Audio takes a good high quality audio device and makes it a Top of the Line recording device. Increasing headroom and doing the things that you can really hear. They take and replace the clock that come to find out is the heart of all audio devices making it sound so pure and clean. They also update with the highest quality audio path components to create a device that is worth thousands more than the upgrade that it costs. Take a look at there web site and send your Omni in for the best kept secret in audio recording. The Omni is a very good Device, but adding the full Black Lion upgrade adds the crisp clean audio you are always looking for that no waves plug in can do. I find I use less or no plug-ins to get that greatest sound ever and have more Microphone choices to get the sound up front, but I can hear the difference now. Send your Omni or Digi 002 or 003 or Motu to them and you will find it is a better upgrade than buying a more expensive set up. Avid HD Omni

Not cheap purchase, but like always, get what ya pay for.
There are only 2 Mic Pres, but those 2 pres are the smoothest, clearest pres I've owned.
Almost zero noise or latency.
Just note that (as I understand it) this unit will not connect directly to a computer as most interfaces do.
You'll need the Native Thunderbolt (or maybe theres another?) that acts as a go between and runs the HD functions.

Very high quality product

I bought the OMNI after reading many good reviews.

The OMNI has very high quality converters and easy to use.

I have used many audio interfaces from RME, ECHO, APOGEE and Avid's older staff and none of them come close to the OMNI.

The only thing which I would like to have in the OMNI is more analog inputs but nevertheless they have other interfaces which you can add to it.

I would buy again for my next setup.Read full review...
