Good value.
Bought to replace homebrew experimentation with SDR dongles and PC which are not practicable for mobile use. Does the job very well. When you monitor the frequency with an external receiver you will see that the signal drifts around a bit, even with a stabilised power supply, but not enough to significantly affect its utility. I have yet to try it on battery power using 18650 but will repost in the new year - if any problems. It could do with a manual but one can be found with a little searching on the net. (You should not pay. Just search for "AW07A manual", you should find it for free on one or more sites.)Read full review

Okay, but...
you'll need to fix the rattling screen with some sticky backed foam, and my tuning knob was broken at the stator ring. Fixed that by machining one from a suitably sized metal washer. 10k x10 turn pot can be replaced for virtually no money anyway. Better solution would be to drill a tiny hole in the case and sit the pot hat flat on the case. Seems to work okay, but difficult to select and lock at a particular frequency. Feels like software was not the guys main skill, as the button debounce is flakey to say the least. Buttons are at different heights, for no apparent reason. Sturdy metal case a bonus. Half the price Nevada want for one. From Portsmouth? Nevada Radio are in Portsmouth too. Hmmmmmmm ;)Read full review

Well worth the money
Very pleased with this unit. I have now set up 2 HF antennas as well as a home made slim Jim.
There is a slight drift in frequency, but nothing to cause problems.
So far using a fresh set of alkaline batteries have given a reasonable life. You can of course use an external power source using the supplied lead. I use a 3s Lipo.Read full review

THE AW07A ANTENNA ANALYZER
I NOW HAVE TWO OF THESE GREAT CHECKERS, ONE FOR THE RADIO SHACK, THE OTHER ONE FOR MY CAMPERVAN AS I CHANGE OVER DIFFERENT ANTENNAS OFTEN WHEN IM OUT CAMPING ALL OVER SOUTHERN ENGLAND AT DIFFERENT CAMP SITES WITH DIFFERENT RIGS AND COAX CABLES, ETC. SO NOT ONLY CAN I CHECK ON SWR BUT THESE CHECKERS CAN TELL ME IF THERE IS A PROBLEM BEFOR I EVEN TRANSMIT ANY POWER INTO THE ANTENNA SO SAVING THE RIG FROM BEING DAMAGED BY BAD CONNECTIONS, MISS ALINED ANTENNA SETUPS, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYONE WHO SETS UP ANTENNAS, STEVE 2E0IKVRead full review
