Reliable easy to install outdoor mechanical timeclock unit.

I prefer the mechanical timeclock over digital for outdoor use. Easy to knock out "knockouts" ,making off glanding was easy. Quality screws to terminate cores & sufficient room in the back box.
r>I'm expecting many many years of good service, because I've mounted it on a flat strong wooden creosoted backboard with wooden weather hood to protect from direct rain & uv sun. It stays permanently in the shade, north facing. (Even though IP66 rated, & uv resistant plastic), I find these precautions I take maintains these items "as new" after many years exposure to the outdoors.

Easy setup - better than MK Masterseal

Great product - bought this to replace a MK Masterseal digital socket which failed due to the digital timer. The Nexus is as good a quality as the MK if not better but has the advantage of a simple analogue timer so really easy to set up - can’t fault it as it is a fraction of the price also !Read full review

Nice and easy!!

Brilliant bit of kit! Very simple to use and fit. I bought this after I had a wifi power timer socket which was useless! Signal always dropping out for the garden lights so would blink on and off all the time was a complete waste of money. Should of bought this one in the 1st place. Sometimes simple and basic win over modern technology. I wired the lights all into to back of the socket so no need to have a plug on the outside.Read full review

Very handy for xmas lights. I was able to add a second socket and wire it into same timer. If you are doing this be aware max wattage for timer is 3120watt. Led lights are low wattage. Manual override is a great feature you can turn off the socket and the timer will keep time but the socket will be off. Great job. So far so good. I hope it will last.Read full review

Does the job as a timer for water feature and also available for strimmer leaf blower drill etc the only criticism's are the outer case has loops for a small padlock but the loops are plastic and could easily be snapped and no grommet is provided to cover the hole where the cable enters the box thus allowing water to enter Read full review
