Big sound from small speakers. The volume increases linearly with the (on-screen) bar icon right up to 100% with no distortion. Excellent quality of sound with evenly balanced bass and treble. Prefer the Bose Companion 20 system.

These are a bit insipid and run very hot! (Dangerous almost) Have to remember to switch them off every night. Also, no remote with the purchase.
