The scent is divisive (I like it) but the lather is unquestionably superb
Produces a really creamy, highly protective lather with very little effort. I definitely prefer shaving sticks over pucks, and this easily beats the other sticks I've tried so far (Palmolive, Arko, Boots). It is of course much more expensive than them, but I think it's going to last a long time; I'm 16 shaves in and there's very little change in the size of the stick. The post-shave feel for me is very comfortable; slightly powdery but not drying is the only way I can describe it.
The other thing to consider is the scent;it's meant to be modelled on the smell of the tobacco plant. The tobacco component is there but overall I'd just describe the scent as old-school manly.
