This is a very good product at a really good price. Raked the moss out with very little effort. I filled a wheelie bin in no time. Like other people have said, you have to keep emptying the basket. I purchased this for a friend as I borrowed theirs and unfortunately damaged it ,so I replaced it with the same (Black & Decker ) one, it has all the same features and only the colour is different, orange instead of green. Moss Raker
I needed to rid my lawn of moss so bough this lawn raker. I could not believe how much moss it removed from the lawn (although there was still lots left). The next job I have to do is to treat the lawn with lawn feed / moss killer and use the machine again to fetch out the rest of the moss when it's turned black. The only niggle I had was when assembling the handle, the screw cross threaded and wouldn't do up properly. Otherwise it seems well made and powerful. Supur sprucer.
We have this green postage stamp masquerading as a lawn. More of a mini meadow really what with the variety of flora. So I treated it again to a weed and feed and turned it from green to green and black..again. This time though I had the secret weapon, the scarifier! My other two thirds was amazed at how much debris was lifted by it but not so amazed that she gave the job the attention that it deserved. I did though and now stare through the window daily at my freshly sown grass seed like an expectant father.
