Useful & quick cutting through wood
As has been mentioned in other reviews it’s a very well made saw & great for quick cutting of all wood from the garden. Due to its size (bulk) it’s not precise or easy to use as a standard electric Jigsaw but if you’ve got a lot of thick wood to cut, that your Jigsaw might struggle with, it’s worth getting this one out of the shed or garage. Easy selection for the correct blade angle for most materials & it all comes in a useful & strong plastic case to also keep your spare blades in. A Good value sawRead full review

Poor Design
I thought I'd splash out and get this newer model, but so far it has been dreadful..
In jigsaw mode; you are unable to see the blade, so have to lean over and look back into the machine to check the blade lines up with your line. (Best take a torch).
The safety kill switch is in a difficult position to get to, so the machine often gets moved out of alignment when activating. The cord sticks out of the top - so watch it doesn't end up falling in front of the machine onto your cutting line..
And it is a struggle to get in the box, barely any room for the cable and plug, and the spare blades sit proud of the lower half of the case, just inside the hinge, so needs micrometre precision placement to close the case.
I've not tried pruning with it yet, so will update once I have. Read full review

A little heavy but does what it said on the box
Bought this because I an useless with a had saw ... it is a little heavy and can be awkward to get into the right position to cut off a branch/bush ... but once you do it cuts well ... I have not tried it on metal as I bought it to help me cut back the hedges and undergrowth that have grown out of hand ... the only thing I find annoying is the branch clamp ... you have to remove the blade each time you want to use it on a thicker branch ... I am sure a slide and lock system could have been designed to get over this
Overall I am very happy with it Read full review

Scorpian saw
Haven't used yet but looks meatier than my old one. That lasted well despite extreme cutting situations inc. tree roots. Looking forward to needing to use it.
Take care......it's a big powerful saw.Read full review

A cut above
This is my second Scorpion - I wore the first one out over a number of years. It makes sawing fast and accurate and this model has improved features over the old one.

Excellent. Good weight to cut.
The blade is well designed to cut thick tree branches and does the job perfectly. The weight helps to cut the branches. Far better than the old version and just one press of a button to change blades. Does exactly what it's designed for very very well. Read full review

It's saved the arm ache of cutting boards small logs, posts and tree work off the ground, and it's universal an all rounder.
