Not convinced genuine brita

Item arrived from overseas China.
Filter quite dusty. When first installed had to take out as water drained through cloudy not filtered at all. After submerging filter in water and letting the cartridge run the water through several times the water then filtered through clear. Not what brita cartridges do.
This is what cheaper brand ones do.

Not Genuine filters

Definitely not genuine Brita Filter Cartridges. Don't waste your money on these. We tried 3 cartridges trying to get one that actually filters clear water but all we got was water with black bits in it and the water tasted earthy.Read full review

The filter packaging looks very different from the ones I've bought before. There is even spelling mistake on the box which makes me doubt if the product is genuine.

Not up to standard

I was very disappointed with these filters. Not up to the usual Brita standard. The filtered water is a murky grey which is not right at all. Will only buy from official Brita site in future.
