Briwax Hard Wax oil
Marvellous stuff, Ideal for hard wood, oak flooring etc. Apply with paintbrush (easiest) and brush into grain. If necessary can be dilited with white spirit or wax thinner. Sets hard. Needs several coats, with top-up coats in a few months, but great finish. Better than varnish or other polishes. Maybe a little expensive. Tendency to set in the tin within a few days. Either use it quickly, or else place plastic bag over tin and then force the lid closed on this for a good airtight seal.Read full review...

It should be applied very thinly,otherwise it will take a long time to dry and scratch easily. It is one of the very few products that will go over a waxed finish and give extra water resistant protection but still leave a soft waxy look.Read full review...
