Buy the original remote if you can find one
The original remote was loads better, the 4 way navigation button on this model is useless. On the original remote the button was raised, on this one it’s level with the other buttons and every time I use it I hit a wrong button.

Does the job well but fiddly central control area.
Buttons in the central control area are too small and cramped making operation difficult. Otherwise the remote is very responsive and works well. Not for those with larger fingers. Replacement BT Youview remote control
My BT youview box is 2-3 years old. The original remote was never very responsive and lately several buttons stopped working. Could be more user friendly
The central control buttons are very close together, making it too easy to select something when you don't mean to. Not difficult to get used to and otherwise an improved design to the previous one.
