Nice phone
Great phone, much clearer than an older analogue phone plugged into Hub. My only gripe is it is a little awkward to fit back in the base. The Alexa feature is useful but not essential.

A good phone for a smaller home.
If you have a reasonable signal strength from your hub then it seems a good product. Unfortunately BT don't design the Hub 2 to work with a range extender, so if you have a large house or thick walls then these phones may not be able to reach the hub.
Don't be fooled by references to it being digital and using voip - the phone does not use your WiFi, it uses DECT to connect to the hub just as portable landlines have for years.Read full review

good phone if you have a good mobile signal and don't rely on a landline in a power cut
no problem with the phone but if you are reliant on a landline then don't buy this new digital voice phone as it will not work in a power cut. If you are in a non spot for mobile you will have problems calling the emergency services without a back up battery which BT promised to supply froo of charge but now won't after all the media coverage about the problem. I am trying to get a BBU as we have no mobile signal.
Added Alexa on it means you can call hand free but takes ages to download all your contacts.Read full review

Nice handset upgrade.
Although the handsets are a little on the larger side the benefits outweigh the negative. A refurbished handset that looks like a new one. The quality of the phone is excellent and is very tactile. Great features with extra features for the people with hearing or vision problems. Crystal clear audio which makes this an upgrade in the dect phones of old. There are no negatives to report about the phone but it should be easy to pair up with Home hub 2 but can be tricky. The system does not transfer stored numbers over. Works on FTTP fibre systems not over copper??. These are system not handset negatives. ALEXA pairs up nicely and is a useful addition. The phones are excellent.

long, tall Sally...
I changed over to these BT Alexa phones after receiving one from BT. They are really nice phones, very easy to set up, and the only thing I have against them is that they are so obviously designed by a man, as they are very tall yet very slim, they take a bit of getting used to handling, being as they really are "long, tall Sally's".....!!!!! If you are thinking of changing to HD phones, then these, with or without Alexa, are an excellent choice!!Read full review

Pleased
Overall I am pleased with this phone but quality of sound not as good as a regular phone, be aware you need a mobile phone if your internet goes off line.

Excellent value for money
Already had one provided by BT but wanted a second handset which was same type and compatible.
This is identical and had no problem synchonising the two.
Excellent value
