This is a well-designed, well-made tool. It is easy to use and is perfectly adequate for my needs. (Hobby woodwork and DIY). However, it probably has limitations for a tradesman; namely a tendency for the angle locking device to slip. The twist-lock on the stock is very convenient but has to be tightened fully to minimise slipping. Most sliding bevels have the tightening nut on the side which can get in the way. This has been well thought out and is the best hubby has ever had in over 40 years of using them
