Awesome quality set for serious automotive DIYers
I spent weeks researching what toolkit to buy and this one is great if you're serious about starting to work on your car without breaking the bank too much. This range comes from Taiwan, whereas people apparently expect Bahco tools to be produced somewhere in Europe, but don't let that put you off as it's pretty decent. You can tell the product is of superior quality, compared to many expensive Great British brand names, by simply looking at the box, i.e., the sockets don't fall when you open the box, the box and the hinges are pretty sturdy, and the handle is comfortable. Other makes just don't bother with these details.
Regarding the tools, it is a metric type containing 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch socket wrenches. No sizes are skipped within the wide range available, whether it is a standard or deep socket or a combination spanner. The kit also includes all socket extensions and adaptors you might need as well as extra bits I didn't know I needed until my first job on the car such as the larger T55 torx bit. For the 3/8 inch socket set equivalent, look for Bahco S330L.Read full review...
