I really rate this series. I like the link to the real story and characters. The experience of these guys in WW2 was amazing - they experienced things that most of my generation never did. It must have had such a huge impact on their lives. The story unfolds in a gripping way. The acting is superb. The realism of the battle scenes is incredible and at times genuinely scary. Have enjoyed watching the series once again. Two discs in our old set went wrong, so it’s good to be able to play and experience what the men went through.

Would give '6 star' if I could. Delivered on time and in great condition, No scratches on the DVD's. Never get used of the blood and deaths but every person should watch these.

Best Value DVD

This is just the best telling of some of the events of the second world war. You go on the journey with the guys from Easy company 101st airborne. Getting the historical feedback from the actual guys in the unit, many of whom have now sadly passed.

There are a couple of inaccuracies the episode about Albert Blithe for one. ( I will let you research that) rather than spoil it.
