Absolute bargain

These speakers have the D’Appolito design of having the tweeters in the middle of two mid/bass drivers. This gives them a much bigger soundstage than one would expect from a small bookshelf speaker. They are detailed and the mid range is superb for voices but don’t think they don’t rock, they are punchy with the right music. If used with a small sub bass speaker this fills in the frequency gap below 55Hz so you get a huge detailed sound. The speaker casing are made of aluminium which is normally reserved for only very high end speakers. They vastly reduce vibrations if mounted on a bookshelf where they work perfectly fine.Read full review

Little gems

These bookshelf speakers sound really good. Way better than I expected. I have a pair of LS3/5As which are well respected by the high end HiFi community, and the CX100s give them a run for their money. And at very much less cost. I run the CX100s with a B&O Cona sub which puts the icing on the cake.Read full review
