Great Scope, Worthless Tripod

I'll start by saying this is a very nice scope and every bit worth the selling price. The optics are very easy to adjust, it has a nice solid body and protective coating and the lenses are very clear. I like it VERY much and it even comes with a carry bag with shoulder strap. I would buy it again, if I hadn't bought it already. The only downside is the tripod. It is basically a POS. There is a VERY weak cross section of material where the scope mount base plate transitions into the hinge. If you look at the picture of the scope on tripod, you can see that area just in front of the hinge pin cap. You guessed it. It snapped far too easily from just trying to adjust the scope to a level position. This is not really important to me as I will be using a camera tripod anyway. I like having the option of placing it either on a range table or setting it up on the floor, which requires extendable legs. Basically, don't be afraid to buy this scope, it is well worth the money. Then go ahead a buy a used camera tripod for a very versatile set up. Used tripods sell all day long for under $20!Read full review

Good budget optic

For the price you can't expect the highest of quality. I know that when I pick this range scope up so I wasn't expecting much. the Tripod is junk just through it away and use a camera tripod set up. the Optic itself is ok, 50Mto100m fine after that you'll start to loose the quality of vision at on targets. I got it because I knew I would not use it much and it would get knocked around. Its ok for a budget rifle range optic. Read full review

Excellent scope, flimsy tripod

Upon first using this scope I found the optics to be excellent! Easy to focus and easy to zoom. However, the included tripod just isn't up to holding even this relatively light-weight scope. I wouldn't use this tripod for anything except a cheap, featherweight camera. I'm using a regular heavy duty camera/video tripod with excellent results.

good for a lot of uses

Good for a lot of uses & a good value for the price. Personally, I only wanted it for seeing my bullet holes in a target at 100yds... not as high of a magnification needed for my use... a lesson I must learn for the replacement spotting scope I'll need to now buy. Excellent beginners scope

Great scope for the price. Can be used as a spotting scope for firearms, or for wildlife. Also it does fine for sporting events, air shows, etc. ... It is compact, light, rugged (I've dropped mine a few times with no issues), and clear to view. It's easy to carry and set up on the included tripod, but I use a more expensive camera tripod with more options to control the scope. Wasn't happy with it

Not clear at all, the lens had some sort of mark on it. Very poor low light performance. Eventually went with a Redfield Rampage and I am much happier.

Works for me

I use it to view my target at 25 yds. Very easy to do and doesn't require a lot of zoom. Pleased so far. I bought it because that is what the range has for those without spotting scopes.
