A must have for Batman enthusiasts.

Tom King has established himself as one of the finest writers in comics, and the Batman is one of the characters who has flourished wonderfully under his hands. As with other writers of his scope, King realizes that superhero comics require more than just two-fisted action. There must also be genuine drama, character growth and an occasional brushstroke of humor. King proves that he understands this thoroughly, and certainly no more than while handling the tantalizing subject of the relationship between the Batman and Catwoman. The story "Superfriends pt. 2", where Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle go double-dating with Clark Kent and Lois Lane, is worth the price of the collection on its own merit.

Here, King's writing is more than ably complimented by the artwork of Joelle Jones and Clay Mann, as well as the superlative color work by Jordie Bellaire. Their efforts alone would garner considerable appreciation from even the most jaded comics fan. Here, the overall collaboration results in a memorable banquet.
