Batman begins in animation!

When Batman first saves Gotham and became its protector, it all started here in Year One, based on the Graphic Novel by the great Frank Miller. Gotham City is plague with crimes and worst of all Corruption, Commissioner Gordon tells the story about Batman, on his first year in the GCPD which is fill corrupt cops led by Commissioner Leob. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne had just return and sees what Gotham, in order to fight crime and protect Gotham, Bruce Wayne becomes Batman the Cape Crusader, the world's greatest detective, and the dark Knight to put end to the corruption of the city. This movie was actually better than Batman Begins because that movie wasn't that faithful of all, I prefer this film over Batman Begins.Read full review

One of the BEST!

Definitely one of the best animated films in the Batman franchise. Tab Murphy did an excellent job of adapting Frank Miller’s impressive story-arc into this animated film. The story is decidedly more dark than most other Batman properties, so this one may not be the best choice for younger viewers. But for teens and adult fans of Batman, this one is a “must see”.Read full review

Batman goodness

Great movie, just a little short. It's also largely about Jim Gordon, which works and sheds light on his character. The Catwoman special was amazing.
