This Battery Seems to Work

EDIT: As of 2017, the battery no longer holds a charge.

I ordered the battery and it arrived in about 3 weeks. It seemed to have arrived from the Netherlands. I opened the package and the battery included a tool set: 3 small screw drivers, 2 plastic blue wedge-like levers (as seen in the photo), 2 plastic blue guitar pick like tools and key chain ring with a plastic suction cup. So, what you see in the photograph here is what you get.

However, I had problems with one of the long plastic wedge-like levers and the one screwdriver that I needed. First, the wider wedge-like lever broke; the tip snapped off when I was trying to pry the next out of the cover. Thankfully they include two of these levers which are shaped slightly differently. Also, the screwdriver that I needed, the Phillips like screwdriver, was slightly too small for the screws. In addition, some of the screws on my Nexus 10 were too tight. I feared that I was stripping the first screw and went and got another, slightly larger screw driver.

As for the performance of the battery, I charged it two days ago and it is still at about 81%, although my tablet has mainly been on stand by or in sleep mode. This is fine, though. Usually, with the old batter, the device would have likely powered down by this point due to no battery power. The battery had a 2016 date stamped on it, so it seemed to be a relatively newly made battery. In sum, the product seems to be working; however, the tools were a bit sketchy. I would caution anyone installing this battery to be mindful of breaking the plastic tools and maybe having a small screwdriver set with a Phillips screwdriver on hand. The screws on the device are small, so keep that in mind if you have to purchase a new screw driver.Read full review...

Replacement Battery Works fine

Nexus 10 battery with fitting tools. Useful to get the tools with the replacement battery, you certainly need them to open the case on your pad. Easily fitted clearly a blanked out Samsung battery. Good quality replacement battery for Nexus 10

Battery seems to be the genuine article, install was mostly straightforward.
The plastic tools were not quite up for the job - there is a scary amount of force needed to pry the frame off and i broke the heads off of the long blue pry bars. Once the frame started coming off then everything else was pretty straightforward. Find help videos on youtube, watch them several times and have them open as you follow the video whilst replicating on your device.
