Still the only remedy for Corneal Edema I am aware of, and if used regularly provides relief. Unfortunately I have never tried the drops, only the ointment. The drops just run out, the ointment stays put. I have used this product now, nightly, for 23 years. This is prescribed by my eye doctor. I tried several time to use. It is supposed to reduce the swelling for my corneal edema problem.
Side Effects. Eye discomfort, burning, redness, or temporary blurred vision may occur.
I had all the side effects except the temporary blurred vision.

I have uneven corneas. Muro 128 was recommended as treatment by my eye doctor. The alternative was cadaver corneas. I use both Muro 128 and Refresh Optive eye drops for dry eyes (not at same time). My pharmacy was always out of Munro 128 and had to special order it resulting in a second trip to the pharmacy. Often they apparently sold it as they would not have it.
