Beat Root Stompbox
I reviewed the product on-line via some YouTube links. It's in a category with a whole host of others at similar or more expensive prices. I use it with eq as the manufacture says full bass, no treble and I have the luxury of some added eq to get it sounding just right. For me it sound great, does the job well, does exactly what it says on the tin or the box in this case. I would recommend it to give that extra percussive thing to your music. We are a rock and roll trio, so I have it sounding like a kick drum. Highly recommended product.Read full review

Beat Root Foot Drum
The Beat Root is really well made and great to look at. I wanted something with a little more bottom end sound and this can be very thin sounding. It's also a lot harder than it looks to play and the idea of the snare drum feel with the heel is ify. Still, I used on a recording and put a plugin on it and it worked pretty well. Overall -O.K. Shipping was immediate and there was no damage to anything.Read full review

Great fun
Recently bought this for my dad as a present. He absolutely loves it, and the quality is excellent. Once you get to know how to adjust the sound using the Base setting it's great fun. I'll be borrowing it from him regularly!Read full review

Where is the bass?
The box is too thin to create real Bass beat sounds,
the grip on the floor is very poor and it moves a lot which also makes it make more unwanted noises.
Can be good to use in a studio with your hand while you grab it. but then again this really isn't the purpose and you can have a real Bass-Drum in the studio.
Sorry to say I was disappointed.Read full review

Good value, simple stompbox
Made in Devon (good quality, strong), this is a simple, well-conceived product. My experience so far is that it really makes a big difference exactly where you hit it. I find the best tone requires me to support my heel so I can hit it near the top of the playing surface. Warning - it's essential to play with the EQ on your mixer to get the best sound. When you do the resulting tone is fat, with a click on top - ideal.Read full review

Stomp Box for a Ukulele Band
I play bass ukulele in a ukulele band and we often go out of sync. I haven't tried it yet, but I've seen other ukulele bands using a stomp-box to keep everyone in time. I thought I'd try it. As a stomp-box, it works fine - I use a splitter-cable to input both the stomp-box and bass uke into my amplifier.Read full review

Simple, solid and great value
The Beat Root foot drum arrived even sooner than expected. Plugged in, it delivers just what is promised. You can adjust between a solid thump and a tinny tap by the position of your foot on the box and the type of shoe, boot, slipper or sock you are wearing. Add effects for even more variety. It's basic, but it's fun and well made.Read full review

Beat root
Well made, simple. Set the EQ on your amp/pa system to suit and get your foot tapping. Can generate slightly different sounds depending on how and where your foot contacts. Great value and works well, either for solo open mic or performance stuff, or with a few muso's.Read full review
