Consider it a good addition to any low budget setup

I read a lot of mixed review about this model, but to be honest this is the only one in the price range I was looking for. There could be more expensive ones and with better performance, but this one give me "better" results than my current set up, so is a win.Read full review

Good

This audio interface was exactly what i was looking for, I tested it with my condenser microphone for podcasting purpose, the item work great, no background noise unless you maxed the mic gain, it's really amazing product for such affordable price .Read full review

Better than it feels

So you bought it because it was well within budget. It does as advertised and the quality is spot on. So it’s great.

What’s wrong with it? It’s quite plasticy it’s just feels cheap. I know that there are products out there that are plasticy and poor they are not good. This one feels not good but is really very goodRead full review

Worked as well as device's costing 5 times more!

We had to do a conference with Closed Caption using Skype. I had five Behringer UM2 and three Focusrite Scarlett Solo devices in 8 different rooms running simultaneously. The UM2 worked flawlessly! The UM2 is an excellent device that was crystal clear at a fraction of the cost of the Focusrite. In fact it had less problems than a webbridge (that will remain nameless) failed with a garbled audio signal and we replaced with a UM2. Great job Behringer for building UM2 and at its price point!Read full review

NO!!!

Don't be fooled by these reviews. This is no where near good quality. It is not very well built but the main problem is it uses generic drivers. They are awful, unless you like an earfull of popping and hissing. After a bit of googling it turns out this is a very common problem with this interface. I urge everyone to just spend like $20 more and get one you will be able to enjoy.Read full review

Cheap and effective!

Okay the noise levels are a little high compared to more expensive audio interfaces but for the price and the low 15ms latency and with some clever sound engineering it becomes as crisp as burnt toast. Can use my guitar and microphone for the most enjoyable recordings. Great stability and function with Asio and FL Studio!Read full review

Compact, easy set up ready to rock.

It works really well, I've used it on linux and win and I have no issues with the drivers. The quality of recording is really good. You wouldnt believe how much this tiny box has to offer you.

Awesome

Very nice and easy to use audio interface. I hook my guitar straight into it and it sounds beautiful. I hook my Blue Yeti Pro mic into it, boom... sounds beautiful. Headphones are comfy and, you guessed it, sound beautiful. ThanksRead full review

You get what you pay for.

Needing an extra interface, I didn't want to spend a ton of money and went with the Behringer. Big mistake. This interface is cheaply made and noisy with the slightest movement, from the mic connection to the unit itself. I wanted to use it for my podcast but it's basically worthless to me. 40.00 down the drain. Like the title says, you get what you pay for.Read full review

For $29, how can you beat it?

For $29 you can't beat it! I purchased this as an alternative audio output for my macbook pro. When driving external speakers, the headphone jack on macbooks is notoriously poor quality. The quality coming out of the Behringer is great and clear.

Now, would I use it to record with the mic input? Probably not but it's probably fine for line input level recording. For $29 I wouldn't expect much.
