Good Quality, Large but Reliable
The WeMo plugs work reliably and support large electric loads. They are well made. They are quite large. but that may be one reason why they are specced for high electric loads. Cheaper alternatives exist, but I have stuck with the WeMo brand because they have been reliable and are versatile in allowing me to use with high draw appliances if desired.Read full review

Great tech
We've been using these for years, and have a number of lights set to go on and off with rules, so the house isn't dark if we are out. The units themselves are a tad on the large size which can make them problematic on power strips. There have been instances where we haven't been able to reach a unit via software, but I think that's down to the vagaries of wifi. We just added Amazon Echo to our household, now we don't even have to get out a phone or laptop to control lights, just voice. Magic! A bit silly in a wee house, but a lot of fun.Read full review

These are great, we’ve got four altogether. Ideal for lamps and at the moment Christmas lights. Decent switch
Easy setup on your local Wifi network through their App, good build quality on the plug itself, could be smaller, if installed into an extension lead the unit is wide enough to block other normal plugs being inserted.
Can be used with Amazon Echo ver easily and also connected to the IFTTT service which enhances the versatility of the plug.
Lots of functions are available, on/off remotely or at home, multiple schedules per switch and even a useful 'Away Mode' which randomly turns on/off the switches around the home to mimic someone being present. All in all a good product.Read full review

Smart plugs which work
After trying out other makes I’ve actually found a smart plug which does work with Alexa and HomeKit (with the Wemo bridge off course). Where other randomly dropped out and became unusable without crawling under a desk unplugging for X amount of time, these have been rock solid. I’m not saying that I didn’t have a couple of set up fixes to do but other than those they have been 100%.
Only consideration is that they are big, but these have been used on sockets under/behind desks so, no problems. So good I’m looking a couple more..Read full review

Easy practical smart control
This product is quickly set up and once configured to your wifi network you can see it has many possibilities. The app allows you to switch the device connected on/off and indeed add many more devices. So on your way home you could have lights , heating and devices switched on and ready for your arrival.
My use is additionally I have a network device 50 miles away that occasional hangs and needs rebooted so I have it now plugged into the WeMo switch and keep it permanently switched on ... so then when it hangs I simply call up the app and switch it off and then on again hey presto a remote reboot 100 mile roundtrip saved.

Does exactly what we hoped
Clear instructions, easy to set up and to use remotely. Able to assign meaningful names to multiple switches to identify them easily from each other.
Only slight downside is that we found the scheduler a little bit fiddly to set up.
