Nice, quality accessory
Cheap, badly made bells are often fitted as standard to shop bought bikes.
On the road, bells aren't often needed or used (not a UK requirement, but recommended), but in urban situations or on shared pedestrian cycle tracks, a must.
This bell is small, nicely made, but best of all, makes a nice, penetrating ding with sustain that so far, has penetrated the ears of even the most oblivious pedestrians, even submerged in phone conversations with headphones on.
The only downside so far has been fitting it in a reachable position on straight bars with grips and gear/brake clusters like Shimano Alivio which don't have much room between the bar and the cable adjusters. With a bit of fiddling, it is possible to get it reasonably close to your hand.
Comes in an expensive looking box complete with Allen key.
How well it stands up to the weather remains to be seen.
All in all, probably the best bell in many years of cycling and would definitely buy again. Good service from the seller.Read full review...

Nice bell, Gives a clear ping, not the loudest but so far has always grabbed attention when approaching walkers on my mtb.
