Nice looking kettle and the blue light whilst boiling is a fun feature. A bit slow to boil but quiet. Easy to open lid and fill. Clear visibility of water level which is marked in metric.

Not for hard water areas
Basically it's a good kettle in that it boils water and, while it is doing so, as a result of the blue illuminated light, it looks great! However, if you live in a hard water area as I do, this is not the kettle for you. When it first arrived, by the time I had boiled it 3 times as I do with a new kettle, it was already furring up. I have been using it for just over 2 weeks and there is a lot of limescale build up. I am having to clean the kettle every day so that the water is drinkable and have even used a descaler twice in that time. The anti-scale filter is very small and there is a lot of limescale in our drinks. I don't recommend this kettle if you live in a hard water area.Read full review...

Good product with too short life
Well, it is a very good kettle, however it is a good, temporary product. I had 4 of these and they lasted from 3 months to 1.5 years. I believe it is either not good enough design or materials used but this kettle simply degrades over time. It looks nice all the time but the plastic parts inside starts to fell off. Here and there - more and more like it was affected by the heat. On the end it is that plastic, springs inside (yes, there are springs as well!) and plastic near the lid doesn't work any more and there were the following scenarios:
The lid just fell off completely, or the kettle was leaking and when more plastic was missing it started to be partly opened when you took it normally by the handle. Yes, I had 4 of them so I know what I am talking about. It was the last one. I have bought a different kettle now (this time from more known company) and hopefully it will last as much time as it should (at least 2-4 years, cannot imagine that it could be otherwise)Read full review...

looks better ( for a little while )than it works
a few reviews says this boils quickly... doesn't seem that fast to me, otherwise OK. would be better if amount markings were on both sides.
Had this for a few weeks now.... We live in East Anglia... don't know the hardness of the water here but the inside of the kettle furs up very quickly and the nice modern clear glass effect lasts only a few days before it starts to look really bad. Have also noticed it takes a while to switch of after the water has started boiling. I really wouldn't recommend this product.
Have since bought a different kettle... pay a little more... I've wasted £25 on this kettle, it boils OK but looks terrible after only a short while with build up of scale... perhaps its just the water in my area.Read full review...

Usually buy a kettle from a make I know. I had not heard of this brand but I have to say I am very impressed. Great price, quality and looks good. It arrived double boxed and very well packaged. It boils quickly and you can see how much water you have. It fills easily and comes with a good length cord on the base but not too long. I like the fact that it is blue until it reaches boiling point.
