I've only had this kettle a while but I am very pleased so far.
I read all the other reviews and don't understand some of them.
The kettle looks great, is stable on its base and pours well.

Excellent Value!

I was very impressed from the first time I used this kettle.
I actually thought it was broken because I couldn't hear anything at all when I switched it on. But I wanted to see and only when it was near to boiling did I hear any sound at all. Great!
The blue light is very pretty and it's nice to actually be able to see how much water is in it.
I read other reviews which said it didn't pour too well but I gave had no issues whatsoever.
I haven't had it long enough to find out how it deals with limescale but so far there's none.
I only boil the amount of water I need so there is never any left in the kettle so I have not had any issues with water marks either.
My daughter mentioned that it was almost exactly the same as hers (except this one was quieter) and her one cost twice the price!
All in all, this is a good buy which I would definitely recommend.Read full review...

Fast boiling great looking kettle.

This kettle is not only great to look at first thing in the morning, but it boils water considerably faster than my previous (non glass) one. I use a water filter for all my water, but can see how easy it would be to clean limescale away.

It's a good kettle.

It's a kettle - it boils water ! I like being able to instantly see how much water is in there. The blue light brightens up the morning.
The plastic lid is a little plasticky and cheap-feeling.
The switch is in a good position, on top. It's away from the water, and the handle grip, and the work-surface (so no accidental switching on by putting a pan too close).
I'm still a little unsure how strong the glass is, but I assume it's pretty rugged.
I hope it lasts several years, I expect that from a kettle.
It has a small footprint, so uses less space on the worktop.
At £19, it's good value for money. If it didn't last at least 3 years, I would be annoyed at it, but so far it's fine.Read full review...

Do not buy.

It blew up this morning. A large explosion blew right through the bottom and put a hole in the metal it was so powerful. Blew hot water everywhere, so glad i didn't have my 8 month old granddaughter in my arms. These need to be removed from ebay. Before someone gets badly hurt.
