Better than my old sharpening steel
This definitely sharpens my kitchen knives better than my old steel. But when I first had the steel it wasn't bad. Only time will tell is this carries on working for a long time or if it too will gradually fail to sharpen. The Sharpening surface wore off within days of use. Now it just leaves a black trail of dust on the knife blade.
Great way to sharpen a knife.
