Beyerdynamic M58 is a work horse

Hands down this has got to be one of the best dynamic microphones I have ever used. It comes across so warm and you don't have to crank the gain up as much with other mics. Also it is heavy and sturdy without being so heavy you can't handle it. It is an ENG microphone so it has a long handle, but I use it in a variety of circumstances. Love this MIC, it's expensive but well worth it and I will have it for years to come. The handling noise is low. there is a built in pop filter which works fine and in comparison to my other ENG microphone the plosives are miniscule. I do recommend getting a windscreen. But great all around mic, and I could use it as a weapon, chuckle chuckle.Read full review

Great sound quality and good looking mic

Great sound quality and easy to hold. This is my second one. I love the fact that it's a long mic. I can add a mic flag and have plenty of room left to hold it.
