This should be name Beyond the Boring Rainbow

Oh my stars, I can't remember the last time I've seen a low-budget "movie" as ridiculous as this. No plot, no character play, no acting.... remember the OLD movies of flying saucers that were really garbage can lids suspended with string? That's about the idea that drives this bore-fest. I had to FIGHT to stay asleep. I'm seriously thinking about chunking the disk in the garbage can to keep from wasting space. No spot for "zero stars" or I would have selected it. Panos Cosmatos' debut masterpiece!

Beyond the Black Rainbow represents the cinematic debut of Panos Cosmatos, son of legendary George P. Cosmatos. That said, the film is an atmospheric and sometimes hallucinogenic tale of a young psychic woman held captive by the Arboria Institute and the sadistic doctor overseeing her torturous "therapy". Beyond the Black Rainbow combines just the right amount of science fiction and horror in a heady blend that looks like it was filmed by the likes of John Carpenter, David Cronenberg or Alejandro Jodorwosky in the year 1983. You have to see it to believe it and even that may not be enough, so you'll have to watch it again. Read full review
