Just the Job

I have a triumph america and this item lifts the bike to a good working height and the bike is not hindered in any way by the lifts framework, good solid design, different height options whitout being too high, if you have a good surface bike can safely be moved whilst on the lift, i do recommend it on the lower setting for this,
All in all I find it perfect for my needs and would recommend if you have a cruiser twin rail type framed bike

Needs modification

Advertised for Harleys but the frame rails on the lift are too wide apart and foul the side stand mount .
It can be used but only by packing with strips of wood to clear the side stand

Americana 2 - Excellent Value for money.

Previously operated with a MX bike manual lift, which was fine for chains and wheel changes but never the easiest/safest option. Needed lift to work on XL600, KTM Supermoto and Honda Quad - easily up to the task, significantly reduced the hassle that I’ve put up with over the years. Assembly straightforward enough, although images in instruction sheet very poor - had to Google images on line. Comes mostly assembled, you only need to complete 3 tasks:
1. bolt the hydraulic pump to the chassis,
2. Flip the spring-loaded bearer bars over so that they spring into welded safety ‘trenches’ that take the weight off the pump (the lift WILL sink overnight if you don’t, with dire consequences) and
3. Add the safety release hand-bar that collects up the spring-loaded bearer joists to enable lift lowering.

Once done, it’s rock solid with a roomy lift pad and plenty of tie-down points.

This item will make your life easier, protect your back (and bike) and it’s not going to break the bank. Any questions, message me.
Good luck.

It Does What It Says It Does!

Does what it says - lifts my Harley for me to work on it...it's stable as any centre lift I've used and easy to assemble and operate.

Helps to have someone hold the bike steady while you lift and lower it, but can be done single handed with a bit of practise and use of your knee to release the safety locks!Read full review...
