Terrible welding. The entire tank sits crooked when installed.

The welding used on this petrol tank is terrible. The entire support spine of the tank is aligned very poorly - i.e. it doesn't sit straight when fitted onto the bike, the tank is skewed to the left in my case. Considering that the petrol tank of a motorbike is the most visible component, you would think that the manufacturer would put some care into the quality control aspect. I waited for 3 weeks for international shipping to arrive from the U.S, thinking that buying from the U.S would mean higher quality goods - the tank box had a giant "Made In Taiwan" sticker on the side, which explains alot. I am now paying a tig welder to break the welds and re-align the entire tank and support spine. Waste of time and waste of money. My advice for everyone else is if you cannot hold the tank in your hand to inspect prior to purchasing it - honestly don't bother. Read full review
