Great Game - Hours of Fun. Fun Multi-Player.

Sonic fans will love this game. Although it differs from the Sonic series, it's the same concept: Finish the level as fast as you can. The scoring is the same as in Sonic also. The camera is a bit slow (i think so anyways) but it's not enough to cause any problems. The multi-player is extremely fun as well. There's three types of multi-player games: 1) Beat the other player in a certain time 2) Unlimited time (play until you are out of lives) 3)Compete to hatch as many egg animals as possible. Some eggs contain power-ups and different items that make battling more exciting! As a Sonic fan, I recommend this item!Read full review...

EggTaskic!

Cutest game ever! really easy to get the hang of, great graphics, you can change the camera angles (really big plus!) and challenging, but in a fun way; like i DON'T want to throw the controller thru the tv because it takes me 1/2 an hour to defeat the boss :) really great game, so glad i got it.
i got it because i am in winter gaming mode and wanted something new to play; we have chickens and thought it was fitting. :)

Decent game! Great for nostalgia value, or feeling a bit like a kid again!

I have a lot of nostalgia for this game, and it is most definitely fun with some very interesting puzzles that take advantage of the titular character Billy Hatcher's egg-rolling abilities. That said, the physics can be frustrating (the eggs are easier to manipulate than the monkeys in Super Monkey Ball, though, so there is that), and the story isn't particularly riveting; on top of that, the multiplayer isn't all that fun. That said, I bought this game and I am happy to have it in my library! And if anyone feels like being a little childish and playing a youthful and vibrant game, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg isn't a bad choice!Read full review...

Nostalgic For Me

I bought this because I am focusing on restoring my childhood collection of Gamecube games. This isn't necessarily a super top-notch game: it's often beyond frustrating. However, it's cute as heck and I just love the satisfaction of flattening the bad guys with an egg that just keeps growing and then eventually crackin' open the eggs to discover what fun little things are inside.

In the end, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to buy unless you're serious about your games and have been dying to play it, or you want it out of nostalgia. If you're curious but not into spending the money, just watch some of it on Youtube.Read full review...

Underrated fantastic game

Still holds up as a fantastic gamecube game, great controls and all. Mission based gameplay like the extra missions in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Nights Journey Into Dreams.
