Great motor, effortless, very quiet and maintenance free!
Great little motor that pushes along a 3.3 metre RIB with 2 adults and 4 kids quite nicely. As other reviewers have commented, using it on power setting 4 or 5 for any period drains your battery very quickly. So, be prepared to chug along on setting 2 or 3 which makes the battery last most of the day...again, with the above passengers this allows you to travel about 7 miles from a 120ah 12V leisure battery. If the conditions are windy, then this might be slightly less. I've now took to taking another battery, just so we can go that little bit further and more quickly.
Would definitely recommend, at least for relatively still freshwater where I've used it, as it's wonderful to glide along with hardly any noise, not disturbing and being able to view wildlife and hear the sounds of the countryside. Maintenance free too!Read full review...
