True Story
Being from a town in North Carolina in close proximity to the town where this story actually took place, the Blanche Taylor Moore story has always been very fascinating to me. I remember going home from work and looking at the local news station broadcasting from the cemetery in Burlington where they would be exhuming another body every day. This went on for several days. I know it’s bad to say, but it got to be kind of amusing. Blanche went from being a murderer to almost a folk hero. The movie did a great job with the story in the short time they had to tell it.
