Nice unit for the money
This is the first backup battery pack Ive ever had.I bought it after reading other reviews on it.And for the low price figured how can you go wrong.You wont as long as you haven't high expectations. I will tell you as anyone with any knowledge at all on batterys and electrical things.The rated power this is supposed to contain.Once fully charged is nonsense.Then you should realize that before buying and not happy for this reason.For anyone reasonable you wont be displeased.It did what I bought mine for.Charging my phone and for that three complete full charges before dead.In most cases in this life.You get what you pay for.In this one you wont be unhappy for 10.00.Read full review

Was sent a cord that blew out both units sent.
Was sent the 2 units, one worked fine the other blew when I plugged it in. I thought the problem had been handled great because they were sending me another unit to replace the one that blew but when I plugged it into the charger it blew out again! I found out it was the charger adaptor that they sent me that was blowing out the units, unfortunately it took two units for me to figure out the problem. I just let the issue go. The one I gave my dad that he always uses a Verizon charger to charge it or the sun, has been working great. So if you get the unit I wouldn't use the charger or adapter they give you.Read full review

I really love having this around but I do not believe the claims of 80000 mAh. I typically only use this to charge a different 4500 mAh battery. I can barely charge that battery 1.5 times.
I understand that mAh can vary slightly with these products but the margin is just too high here to be able to label this as an 80000 mAh power bank. Were it not for this I would have given the 5th star.
In the end I am completely satisfied with the price for this product as similar units with a much smaller capacity run 3-4 times the price without the solar panel (which is awesome btw).Read full review

It lacks severely in being able to charge from the sun and I have returned to just charging them using housedhold current and a USB cord as waiting for the sun to charge them is never feasable . I own 6 of these units and none of them charge well or at all by using the sun. I do believe it is a nice design for a portable power supply Just feel the solar charging needs a lot of improvement before it is of real value in the hiking and camping department for extended periods of time.Read full review

The charger has a ton of energy, I've had around 4-5 full phone charges with this small thing. The cord itself is fine but the male end piece that plugs into your phone is beginning to bend (Probably my fault). The cord is a little short but you can use different cords even though I use the short one that came with it to be on the safe side. I've never dropped it but if you do it might break, I won't drop test it.
I really suggest buying this. I've got my money's worth out of it already and it is still running very well. So when it breaks I am likely to buy this again. Highly recommend for people on a budget.Read full review
