Spektrum Ar636a rc aircraft receiver

I purchased this receiver with the understanding that it would work in a durafly tundra. I only found out after I received the product and installed it that it would not work! I would not recommend this product for any other aircraft then E-flite, by Horizon Hobby. This receiver will not work or function properly in any other aircraft than those without significant modification to the servo's.
This was not mentioned in the description of the product! I was told that I should flip the receiver turn it upside down or purchase Spectrum servos! This receiver turned my PNP plane into an ARF kit.
I have spent approximately 12 hours trying to make this receiver work in my durafly Tundra! After all of that I only have AS3X. Safe does not work, it operates backwards! I was only able to get the controls to respond correctly to the transmitter, which is a spectrum dx6, after I went into sub trims and reversed the aileron, and elevator. The rudder was the only control surface that worked correctly!
No, I do not recommend this product unless you've got a couple of days to work on your aircraft, and even after that, good luck!Read full review

Nice to be able to pick up a used AR636A at a reasonable price. Was able to flash rom it with a stock AR636 and proceed to program it for my application. Required a text file hack of the SRM to adjust the orientation. Recommend this for RC'ers who know what they're doing.Read full review
