Revisiting a treasured text.

I first read 'Bleak House' for A-level sixty-five years ago. It's an amazing book, full of memorable characters, an ingenious plot, and lots of Dickens' fury at prevailing social conditions in London. I wondered about re-reading but couldn't manage the small print in the version I've been treasuring. But the audio version was so satisfying. I got the 'gist' of the tale. It was like visiting old friends and old fiends! It was a thoroughly good buy. Read full review
