There is good reason why this microphone always pops up on lists of the best USB microphones. It plugs and plays well. Most people do not need the advanced features of professional microphones at higher price points. Make no mistake, however, the Blue Yeti X holds its own among them in terms of sound output. Love the stand with which it came and opted not to purchase a boom arm. I also purchased a foam mic cover to prevent unwanted noise from coming through since I have a ceiling fan in my home office. Worth the money!

I must say this Mike is surprisingly great.
The microphone works with the such Precision capturing every single word for dictation of Microsoft Word. You don't have to have the microphone directly in front of you, you can have it to the left or right of you screen and it picks up every single word perfectly.
