This is a very competitively priced splitter and does relay the sound to both headphones. However, there is a reduction in sound out requiring you to increase volume. The female connectors do not give a perfect contact and this leads to a loss of sound clarity. I was trying to take a signal from my Virgin Media box and split it so that one output went to my sound bar and another to my Hi-Fi system, but as soon as I connect everything all I’m getting is hum through the speakers.
