Another outstanding Haynes 'Owners Workshop Manual'!

Author Chris Howlett, an acknowledged expert on the B29, has written an incredibly thorough book on this famous aircraft. It is filled with very readable text, archive photos, drawings, diagrams. The Boeing 'Superfortress' was an aircraft ahead of its time, its gestation period was long because of this. Lots of teething troubles, particularly with the massive Wright Cyclone engines. In the end this huge bomber was highly successful and was the main instigator in winning the war against Japan. It continued some time after, into the '50s and was used in the Korean War.
