Excellet wood presevative really feeds the timber
Having tried numerous wood treatments on my wooden gates none of them seem to preserve the wood from drying out and loosing its nature. I had used boiled linseed oil years ago so thought I'd give it a try and it has brought the wood back to life. Next will be the fences. Its easy to apply and the wood loves it. Try it!
The price was very good value and free delivery during virus lockdown remarkable.Read full review

Dried overnight outside in cold December weather
The first can they sent was defective as the screw top was frozen on and even with brute force we could not shift it, they eventually replaced it with one that was easy to open.
In our experience boiled linseed oil is much of a muchness but this seller says they have added extra driers and given we ended up applying it outside in December in fairly cold weather we found it dried overnight so the application can be deemed a success.Read full review

Double Boiled Linseed Oil from Rye Oils.
Not a lot you can state about linseed oil. However the supplier was very efficient and delivery on time. This is double boiled linseed oil. I wanted it for my decking area and also to mix with my shed care product to make it more water / rain resistant .

Drys quicker than you expect. Good for rough sawn wood.
Used for sealing end grain wood rounds for art installation. Product dry’s fairly quicky probably as it was used on end grain were oils soaks in quickly. Produces a beautiful amber tone.

Good value
Not much to say really. Good price and seems as good as any other linseed oil. Used it as an additive to homemade lime wash when painting external walls of a Georgian house. Seems to have done a good job in helping to avoid “dusting”.Read full review
