Cracking piece of kit!

I have owned lots of strimmer over time, and to be brutally honest, none of them were any good. Auto feeds that didn't work, rubbish quality lines, poor power consumption, etc. And these were all well known, reputable makes.
This one is different. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Not cheap, by any means, but certainly well worth the difference. Not as powerful, obviously, as a petrol strimmer, but perfectly adequate for all jobs around a garden, large or small.
In all, very efficient, top quality, as you would expect from Bosch, and I would thoroughly recommend sending your hard- earned on one! 5 Stars.Read full review...

Cuts through long grass and tough weeds

Excellent strimmer for cutting through long grass and weeds. I was sceptical about buying a cordless product thinking it would not be powerful but this strimmer really does cut through scrubland and tall weeds and grass. I use it on a steep bank which has been overgrown for a couple of years. It doesn’t cut through new blackberry stalks very well but tackles everything else. The only downside is the battery lasts for only around 20-25 minutes, but that’s probably due to the thick growth it’s cutting through. The battery doesn’t take long to charge so it is not a problem for me. Be aware that if the product doesn’t specify it comes complete with battery and charger then it does not. The battery and charger are as expensive as the actual strimmer. I would definitely recommend this strimmer for cutting through rough areas and long grass but if you just want to edge a lawn or strim a small well kept area of grass, then you are probably better off buying a cheaper strimmer.Read full review...

Great cordless strimmer

Easy to use, relatively good value if you already have a 36v battery to fit, reputable manufacturer of reliable tools.
The only down side is the weight, slightly on the heavy side and would benefit from a harness. Having said that once the heavy battery is put in it is perfectly balanced.Read full review...
