Perfect choice
I was reluctant to get the Dyson because of short battery life and issues with emptying...The Bosch has a great batterylife easy to empty and picks up well even on lowest setting. It performs better than my corded vacuum on my dark coloured Chinese rug!
The tools are a bit of a phaff, but great once set up... I recommend getting a separate good handheld for convenience...Read full review...

Effective cleaning but not the easiest to use
Lightweight and easy to move around. Good suction even with pet hairs. Downsides are that to switch from upright to hand held mode you have to release the handle and the cleaning foot and then attach the strap. On my machine the release catch is stiff and the process is a bit of a pain. Living in a house with 2 long haired women and long haired dog the G Tech floor sweeper became damaged because of the hair. Consequently I bought this Bosch (£30.00 cheaper than a G Tech). It is a powerful suction and sweeper far better than the unit it replaced. Easy to clean and empty and instead of taking the unit to pieces to clean the brush it just slides out.
