These replaced some huge Technics I’ve had since 1991. I finally downsized but wanted wired speakers for my TV and my favorite local radio station KUTX. I still have Sony receiver. Was looking specificities for Bose Bookshelf speakers. Old school. These are great. Work great.Read full review

Okay but not as impressive as my other Bose products.

These speakers are clearly worth the price paid. I own a pair of Bose Noice Canceling headphones, a mini Bluetooth speaker and a Bose Sound bar. All produce superior sound than the bookshelf speakers. Again, not bad just not special.Read full review

Quite nice

These are nice little speakers, for a small room. They sound crisp and clear, they don't have an abundance of bass due to their size. These are in my kitchen and used mainly to listen to NPR; for that they're perfect. When they do play music they do an adequate job. I like these little entry level Bose Speakers they sound phenomenal for their size, but should be paired with something much bigger for optimal effect.

What I expected from Bose.

I want it a small speaker with superb sound. These for delivered and they sound fantastic whether I am playing forza horizon for on my xbox one or watching high definition Blu-Ray movies. Bose quality as expected.

I purchased these bookshelf speakers as an added dimension to the Sony sound bar for the A/V system in my workshop/ office. The pure, crisp, full sound from these speakers did the trick. I enjoy systems that reproduce the sound like it was recorded. None of the overwhelming bass that so many people think is needed, but really just cover up the subtleties of the individual instruments. I will give it 5 stars if it's a Binding Post / Banana Plug Connector instead of a Push Connector if you use 8 ga wire. For the price it's fair enough.
