Good sound lacking low end
I have several SoundTouch systems and this one definitely has the least warm sound quality and struggles to keep up with volume with listening to my whole house system. By itself it sounds clear and precise. I do find the additional cost for the SouindTouch portion to be overkill but at the same time without it I wouldn't have bought it.

Good not great.
I’ve had a Soundtouch 10 for a while and have enjoyed it, but it’s just one and I had to pump it pretty loud to reach the whole house. The Wave seemed like a good solution to be able to network the speakers and also have a radio, CD player and aux in features that the 10 doesn’t have. I also thought that since it was Bose it would work really well. Instead I find that it works well most of the time but is glitchy others. Problems that come up include the volume going crazy and not being able to control it, the speakers alternating sound every couple of seconds instead of both playing at the same time, taking a long time to connect through Bluetooth. Also, I made the mistake of pairing it with my TV. It pairs automatically now and if I don’t forget to turn it off it freezes my Firestick and I have to restart it. I’ll have to clear the pair list but that means I’ll have to re-pair everything else. I have hope that it’ll get better and these problems will get worked out, but I also have fear that some of these problems are compatibility issues and there may be some point where it bricks because it’s not compatible with anything anymore. The company advertised the product as having a USB port, but without explaining that the port was only for upgrades. I needed a unit that plays MP3s from the USB Port. I wasted $650. Bose Wave Sound Touch
Well, let's see I got this for my wife for her Birthday and she is happy with it. I am a real snob when it comes to sound quality. Having been brought up in an era of two channel stereo, with excellent imaging, its what I come to expect from great sound. Well, add to this the likes of SiriusXM, and all the other internet options and Bose has a real winner.
Sound quality is transparent and imaging is top notch. Keep the unit at least 2 feet from the wall behind it and you cant miss. The unit comes with a small remote that is easily lost. You can download the app for any device and operate it from your phone.

Everything I’ve ever bought from Bose has been of good quality, great clarity, deep tones, my only slightly negative comment on their radios is how high, based on their 0-100 volume level indicator, to get a reasonable volume. You have to get up to above 50 to get even a low one room volume. Just don’t understand it, you can’t even hear it at volume level 30.Read full review

This is our second BOSE system in our house. We use one in our living room and I wanted one for my office. The sound quality is excellent.
