Personally, I find Joni's interpretations of these classics mediocre.
I made the purchase because the musicians are world class.
It's very listenable, but nothing jumps out that says "this is great stuff".

This is completely different for wonderful Joni. This concept album tells the story of a love affair from initial infatuation, through love, then fading and the breakup.
This is Joni's incredible voice singing mostly old standards with huge full orchestration behind her.

I loved seeing Joni Mitchell at the 2024 Grammys. I wanted to hear more so I purchased this CD. Only 2 songs on CD are written by Joni, my favorite, Both Sides Now and A Case Of You.
