Did the job I bought it for no problem. I now have a set I can rely on in future.
Upon opening the box the contents had shifted preventing opening fully. Once I got it open I had to bend back the metal into place to hold the dies in place.
The taps and dies work fine but you will need to use them on a nut and bolt first to remove burrs on them.Read full review

Not perfect, but still a good buy.

Nicely presented in compact metal box. Minor niggles are the taps are in holes, but there is nothing to stop the smaller ones falling out. Every time I open the box, a handful of the taps are rattling around in the box. I'll have to fit a hinged block somehow. The taps are shorter than I'm used to, it would have been nice to have had their full dimensions. But my biggest problem is the shanks being so big. Trying to tap 5mm holes, a 4,2mm drill is needed, but to get the tap right down, had to drill a 6.2mm hole to allow the shank clearance. However, I still feel it is a good buy to have a full set of taps and dies for less than £35.Read full review

Metric taps full set (3 taps per size)

Quality full set of metric taps and dies are a must and this set are very well priced and well finished in a sturdy metal storage case with thread gauge
and no surface rust on the dies like the cheaper sets you can buy.
The handles are very nice to use as they are well finished no burs nicely knurled but not to aggressive that they bite the hand a great set of quality taps that should last a lot of threads
I would keep the silicate pack in the box to prevent that surface rust appearing.Read full review
