Buying used - save a truckload of money over buying these brand new.

Definitely a first gen product - the fit is okay, not great; they run up uncomfortably in my ears quite often. Poor range; in my small apartment, I have to stay in the same room or have clear line of sight to maintain a strong connection. Connection is not the best; sound does cut out from time to time.

There’s audible white noise when no music is playing through the headphones.

They aren’t bad though. I would give them a 60% or 70% grade - for a product that basically introduced wireless headphones, and most competitors fail in the same way, these are leaders of the pack.Read full review

A great product let down by bad Bluetooth connectivity

The Dash is lightweight, comfortable, feature-rich... and almost completely lacking in Bluetooth reception range. With my phone held in front of my face, it worked fairly well, with only an occasional stutter that you might experience from another device at a greater range. However, with my phone in my trouser pocket (either one), the stuttering was almost continuous, occasionally with more gap than sound, and The Dash occasionally disconnected entirely and then reconnected.

This problem is so bad that I'm returning mine on the grounds that it is unfit for its intended purpose.

Bragi no longer manufacture or sell this model, and its replacement in their range, The Dash PRO, supposedly has better Bluetooth range. Don't bother with this product as a Bluetooth headset - but have a good look at its successor.

On the other hand, The Dash has a highly capable set of offline features, including a self-contained music player, activity tracking and GPS. It is waterproof to 1m and is advertised as being suitable for use while swimming. So, if you want to leave your phone behind and only connect to sync data, then the lousy Bluetooth range shouldn't bother you too much.Read full review

Overall Great Product!

I received my Bragi Dash and it works fine. Noise cancellation is great! Sound quality is good. Bluetooth setup is easy and pretty quick. Connection issue if its 1m away from phone but still works great even when phone is in pocket. Battery life is great! Better than Samsung's wireless earbuds. Overall worth the bucks! Best wireless bluetooth ear bubs on the market so far

These are the best ear buds I have found out there. So good I bought another pair 2 years later after comparing to what's out there now, & none have all the features these have.

When I started to look for wireless earbuds I wanted a pair I could use while competing in OCR's & mud run. So they had to be water proof & fit well, on top of just sounding great. What I found was that & so much more.

No other earbuds give you sounds quality, comfort, noise cancelling, water proofing, fitness tracking, & embedded music all in one. The last two features can be used w/out having to have your phone on you. So for what I wanted these work out better then I thought I wanted. Hands down best in the market & worth every penny!

There are some cons in my opinion which are subjective, but they are out weighted by the pros. The cons in my opinion are when working out doing laying down on your back exercises, they feel like they can fall out but they don't. Also I wish the main ear bud for audio connection was on the left, but I adjusted & understand why it is not.

I recommend these to anyone I know that wants a great wireless earbud.Read full review

Not a bad product. Left me wanting a little more

The connectivity could be a little better. And some of the features work against each other. All around not a bad set of earbuds but there is room for improvement.

Full of feature and good sound

The Kickstarter product actually performs well. It takes adjustment at first if you never wore any of those devices before. They are comfortable in my ears using the medium size tips and sleeve. A leash would be recommended for swimming. While working out they stay put in my ears. Overall happy about these. Bragi has been sending many updates which are well received.Read full review

Awesomeness

These were exactly what I was looking for and exactly what I was wanting.
They are really good now that I updated them to the 3.0.2 update. Huge change from the previous versions. The update really made them worthy.
The transparency mode now is phenomenal and I will use it for deer hunting season.
They are light weight in the ear and I barely notice them in at all.
The wireless connection is awesome. Perfect for when I am cutting the grass and doing outdoor chores.

Best headphones

These are they best headphones I have ever owned and being completely wireless is an absolute plus I love the fact that you can answer the phone without touching the ear bud or your phone which comes in handy while I am riding the bike. At first I had a problem with the wind activating the assistant on my phone but that problem was completely resolved by locking touch controls they have thought of everything. The bluetooth connectivity is great I can go anywhere in my house and stay connected without having to take my phone with me which I have never been able to do with any other bluetooth headset I have owned. Is it perfect no it isn't I do occasionally run into problems with it but nothing that I haven't experienced with other bluetooth devices and actually the occurrences are less often than most of them. The things that these can do the others can not outweighs any problems I experience they stay in my ears regardless of what I am doing even wired earbuds don't do that for me. Transparency mode is awsome I can't believe the technology that went into these I don't use these to help with work outs cause I don't really work out my job is all to exercise I need any I have not had a chance to use them in the pool yet but just knowing that I can is a huge relief cause I don't wear bluetooth in a pool ever my concern is with rain which obviously wont be a problem with these I am extremely happy wih them and highly recommend them to anyone that can afford them they are worth every penny.Read full review

Very poor connection and failing battery ruined the whole thing

The main issue I had with this was that it didn't want to charge the earbuds charged successfully once and then even with the charging case plugged in and the headphones seated correctly it wouldn't change. The other issues I had seemed to be more general issues with these headphones than an issue with my perticuar pair from what I have read, that would cut in and out even with my phone less than 3 feet away either on the workout bench or in my pocket. The sound quality was also dismal. I am now using the Jabra elite sport true wireless headphone. They seem to be the dash minus he storage and touch controls but with everything else working correctly and much better sound.Read full review
