Does what its supposed to
A replacement foil and cutter for the razor, undo the old, put the new one on. Then - important - use a paperclip to reset the shaver's clean memory (on the shaver itself) or it won't do the cleaning cycle in the shaver recharger.
The foil pattern is different to the old one I had, but doesn't seem to be wildly different in performance.Read full review...

There is no choice but to buy this but the foil could be more robust. You need to be carful and not clean around the ends of the foils. They have a step at the end which in the end starts to break.<br>
So I would recommend but you need to be careful to avoid having to prematurely replace. I think Braun recommend changing every 18 months; I usually go for 2 years but have had to replace a couple because of premature failure of the foil rather than wear.Read full review...

Electric razors need a new set of cutters about every 18 months. It is always advisable to replace them with the original maker's cutters. Braun quality can virtually be taken for granted. Unsure about the central cutter being different to all of my previous ones.
Main issue that I have is that the central cutter does NOT match any of the cutter foils that I have had in the past, including the original one. The images did NOT show this until they were updated and only after numerous messages to the seller.
